Wish a warm welcome to the newest members of the JP Family! Erica Heinisch and Sara Remus, both hailing from Fresno State, joined our team earlier this year as two perfect (and very different) additions to our Outreach & New Media Department.
Erica quietly sits at her desk typing away at her keyboard blowing past project after project. Erica graduated this past December and brings a strong background in journalism, social media and content development. She grew her love for public relations and writing while acting as Community Relations Director for Fresno State’s Heartbeat of PR event, managing the social media and photography for Twin Pomegranates Wine’s online store, and editing the tour guide for the 2014-2015 Fresno/Clovis Convention and Visitors Bureau. Erica may be quiet, but just ask her about Downtown Fresno and she will light up with enthusiasm for the revitalization project.
Sara is the youngest and most talkative member of this eclectic family. Though she is a sophomore in the Mass Communications & Journalism Department, the entrepreneurial spirit has lived within her since a very young age. Teaching herself publishing software at the age of nine, Sara created magazines and newsletters for her local library. Sara now owns her own portrait photography business, performs contract copywriting and graphic design for small businesses, and co-owns the Hungry Dog Delivery food delivery service. Yeah, we weren’t kidding about the entrepreneurial spirit… Sara is probably one of the busiest sophomores in college that we’ve ever met.
