Agency Life at JP: If You Know, You Know

I have had the pleasure of working for JP Marketing on the account team for about three months, and I can genuinely say I have never felt more welcomed and grateful for a job. There is just something so unique and special about JP as an agency. If you know, you know. But if you don’t, let me explain.

Our One-Of-A-Kind Culture

If you know anything about marketing agencies, you know they can be wildly fast-paced and often full of late nights and long hours to meet tight deadlines. So you might be thinking, “Who the heck would want to do that?” Well, that is just what agencies do, and JP does it the best! I come from previous agency experience, so I can verify JP is one-of-a-kind. I’ve truly landed my “dream job.”

JP Creative Meeting

The JP culture revolves around our mantra “Creating Wins, Cultivating Relationships.” This methodology is applied internally amongst team members and externally when working with clients. We work to build trusting relationships by experiencing huge milestone moments, or “wins,” and reeling through even the toughest setbacks. No matter the situation, JP will be a north star, providing unlimited support and grace throughout the project timeline. I believe that is the approach that results in our team succeeding in many things, big or small.

Furthermore, JP stands by its employees, making sure their needs are met before anything else. This kind of team support is rare, and it makes a personal difference every single day because our staff is equipped with the confidence to create quality work.

Work-Life Balance

From my perspective, work-life balance at JP falls under the “employee first” mentality. With the utilization of a Results Only Work Environment (ROWE), our team gets work done efficiently while still being able to enjoy our personal lives and things that fill us with purpose. Whether a team member attends a doctor’s appointment, a child’s sporting event, or simply wants to work a half day on Fridays, ROWE allows us to manage work and personal events when needed, no questions asked. In addition, ROWE ensures accountability for our entire team to choose how we spend our time while producing great work.

Keeping employees happy doesn’t just help us as individuals; it also helps the agency’s bottom line. And we all know that happy people will be more creative, efficient, and productive employees, which means happier clients, too!

Alexa, Play “Get The Party Started”

Last but not least, one of my favorite things (out of many) about our agency is how every win is recognized, whether a shoutout during an all-team meeting or a simple hand-written note. At JP, we celebrate everyone and every win. And no celebration is complete without a party!

Get The Party Started

Gathering as a team for birthdays, anniversaries, social outings, or silly games around the office is an integral part of our office culture. It provides a foundation for teamwork, collaboration, and understanding each person’s personality and communication style. Then again, if you’ve worked with our agency before, you’ve probably felt this energy translated through your own interactions and relationship with our team. One thing is for sure, we never shy away from having fun (just as long as we get our work done). Like I said, “If you know, you know.

Cheers, friends!
