We’re Just a Phone Call (and 6 Feet) Away

All of us at JP are used to working under high pressure and tight deadlines. That hasn’t changed even in the face of COVID-19. Take a look at some of the latest ads we’ve created in rapid time to help our community stay healthy and safe.

Fresno County Department of Public Health

When news of the novel coronavirus first hit, we knew that the Fresno County Department of Public Health was going to need help fast.

One of our immediate tasks was creating a dedicated COVID-19 web page with up-to-date information on FCDPH.org, the county’s public health website. Soon after, we developed a video featuring Fresno County Health Officer Dr. Rais Vohra and Fresno County Behavioral Health Director Dawan Utecht. With the message of “Standing Apart, Working Together,” the video highlights the importance of social distancing with limiting the spread of the virus. Our team filmed and edited the video within 24 hours and uploaded it to YouTube the following day. Since posting on March 21, the video has nearly 13,000 views. We’re continuing to reach the public with new videos and tips to stop the spread.

Fresno County Department of Behavioral Health

Taking care of your mental health is just as important as staying physically healthy especially during this time of uncertainty and stress.

We knew this was a challenging time for our behavioral health team, as they were flooded with calls and requests to address COVID-19 in our community. We also knew the importance of posting relevant and helpful content for residents in need of support. That’s why, in addition to our paid media efforts, our media team went above and beyond by developing a series of infographics for their social pages as added value. Using key points from trusted local and national resources, we shared tips on a variety of COVID-19 topics, including how to talk to children about the virus and ways to take care of your mental health.

Department of Public Utilities – The Unflushables

With many people rushing to buy toilet paper, it’s likely that some residents will use wipes or paper towels until shelves are stocked again. While they’re fine alternatives, these products can clog sewer lines if they’re flushed down the toilet. The City of Fresno Department of Public Utilities asked us to remind everyone that now more than ever, “The Unflushables” belong in the trash.

Our team created a 30-second animated video within 24 hours (another quick turnaround!) and quickly produced a companion radio spot and digital graphics. The ads were up and running in just a few short days.

We don’t know what tomorrow holds, but one thing is certain: we’ll continue to show up for our clients when they need us the most. We’re just a phone call (and 6 feet) away.
