May is Bike Month, and this month’s JP Desktop Wallpaper will help remind you to ride your bike all month long.
Inspired by childhood summer bike rides through his hometown, Peter Carrion designed this wallpaper to remind you of the fond memories of past summers spent pedaling through the streets.
The design is reminiscent of street art with a cement textural effect. Peter chose green to emphasize the carefree, environmentally-friendly and healthy lifestyle that Bike Month promotes.
Since 1956, May has been recognized as bike month to encourage cycling across the country. Locally, the goal of bike month is to not only promote safe and healthy living with bicycling, but to also raise awareness for Fresno to become a bike-friendly community.
Fresno is packed full of biking events and campaigns during May including California Classic Weekend and I Bike Fresno. Don’t be afraid to dust off your bikes this May and get moving!
